Streakling privacy policy

Last updated 13 October 2026

The short version

Streakling does not collect, send or sell any data. Your habits and streaks are stored only on your iPhone.

What is stored and where

The habits you create, the days you complete them and your settings are saved on your device. They are not sent to us or to anyone else. There are no accounts, analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs.

Notifications

If you turn on a reminder, the app schedules a local notification on your iPhone. No server is involved.

Sharing and backups

When you share a streak card or export a backup, the file goes only where you choose in the iOS share sheet.

Streak ally (optional)

Streak ally is off until you turn it on. A check-in or a cheer is a link that you send yourself, with any messaging app. The details (the name you choose, active days and streak this week, and habit names only if you switch them on) are written into the part of the link after the “#”. Browsers do not send that part to any server, so it never reaches us: the app, or our ally page, reads it on the device that opens it. Anyone you send a link to can see what it contains, and can pass it on, so share it only with people you trust. Check-ins you receive are kept only on your iPhone. Turning streak ally off deletes them.

Live Activity

While a focus timer runs, iOS shows its countdown on your Lock Screen. It is drawn on the device and goes nowhere else.

Deleting your data

Settings > Erase all data, or delete the app. For streak ally only: Progress > Allies > Edit > Turn off.

Children

The app collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
